As you may know, Canadoor curated and packaged organic, sap-to-syrup, local maple syrup as a gift for all Canadoor customers this spring. To sweeten the deal even further we also curated our top three recipes based on how great they tasted and how simple they are to make. Here they are! Maple Glazed Carrots

  • Ingredients: 500g carrots, 100ml maple syrup, 2 tbsp butter, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Instructions: Peel and slice the carrots. In a pan, melt butter and add the carrots. Cook until they start to soften. Add maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Cook until carrots are fully tender and glazed. Serve warm.

Maple and Mustard Salad Dressing

  • Ingredients: 100ml maple syrup, 3 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1/2 cup olive oil, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Instructions: In a jar, combine all ingredients. Close the lid tightly and shake vigorously until well blended. Drizzle over your favorite salad greens.

Maple Yogurt Parfait

  • Ingredients: 100ml maple syrup, 500g Greek yogurt, granola, fresh berries or fruit.
  • Instructions: In bowls or glasses, layer Greek yogurt, a drizzle of maple syrup, granola, and fresh berries or chopped fruit. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up. Serve immediately or refrigerate for an hour before serving.
