"I bought my home knowing the old homeowners did alot of work themselves . Well 2020 didn't start off so good . My garage door opened and came back down almost hitting my vehicle a few times, the opener didn't work some days, was a fire hazard as they used an extention cord . So I finally had enough I used Canadoor before to install a opener had amazing experience so I called them up as I seen they had a promotion going on . I got the lovely knowledgeable, experienced Sherry on the phone.Sherry walked though every thing with me from type of door , color , size, windows, caping etc. You name it she helped me out to get an affordable door in my price range and color I wanted and even took the time to call me after hours to help me out. With working in Construction it was hard to make it home on time for a technician to come take photos and measurements. I was so grateful when I got the call that one of there technicians offered to come on his way home to help me out . I was super grateful for that. I got my garge door and capping put in May 2020. The 2 gentleman that came to install were very skilled , experienced, knowledgeable, and very polite. They cleaned up after them selfs didnt leave anything behind. They got the work done in very reasonable time ,with everything I ordered i thought it was going to take longer but they worked as a team and got it done in one day. I am 1000%super happy with how it turned up. I was a bit scared it may not have been the right door but it looks amazing. The black capping looks amazing. It is super pristine , it was installed perfectly. I have ocd and once I got home from work it was amazingly done. The 2 gentleman did and amazing job. "My garage door spring broke on a Thursday night. I called Canadoor in Alliston first thing Friday morning and spoke with Jason. He was extremely helpful. He promised he would do his absolute best to get someone out to fix my door ASAP (as I was unable to get the door open at all and had a car parked in the garage- which I needed to be able to drive). Terry arrived at my house to repair the garage door just before noon that same day. He was very knowledgable and friendly. He assured me he could complete the work in a timely manner and did just that. My wife and I were so pleased and thankful that we attempted to tip him-to which he refused many times. "Excellent experience from start to finish. I recently had both garage doors upgraded in my shop to higher insulation rating and better quality door. Had several quotes but settled with Canadoor based on attentiveness and price. We had to go back and forth a few times as I added and deleted options. Sherry actually responded to my quote update on a Sunday within 20 mins which was impressive. Also was very thorough with explaining process and install. Install was also as scheduled and quality was exceptional. Installer (I believe his name was Kaleb) was outstanding. Fussy about quality of finished install and went above and beyond. Ran into a few complications with install which we had to modify existing opening. Modifications added more work but powered through lunch to get job completed. Install looked great inside and out. This is a finished interior garage which he spent the extra time to neatly cut drywall and hide brackets on uprights. Loaded up old doors and swept up the area. He then walked me through the care and maintenance of doors and lubrication schedule. Sherry (Inside Sales) actually dropped by the job site as he was finishing to ensure I was happy with install and it all went well. Refreshing to deal with business that obviously values its employees and is reflected through there commitment and work ethic, Was great experience and would recommend Canadoor for both professionalism, quality of product and installation."
